July, July

Blue bracelet is the way I feel.
It is the method of thinking I've adopted
This time, this year.

Yellow nail file is my only religion,
My rock, my hard place, my place
In this world.

Your glass jar perspective holds my
Jesus pens, my idol ink, my
Prophet margin.

This desk is a ship sailing west
Toward another photograph, a
Lie we love to look at.
